Thats crafty

As one of our crafts this past week we painted tithing boxes. Ashlee just got a piece of paper to paint on. She discovered is is more fun to paint on herself than on the paper and some how Ben got paint all over his face too. Mara was the only one who stayed clean. Slip and Slide

On Saturday, while Mara and I went out visiting teaching, David took Ashlee and Ben out in the back to the slip and slide and pool. They had a blast!!

Okay it is not Christmas but Mara is singing that all the time because she has lost her 2 front teeth...here is a picture...

Happy July 4th

David's sister Dorothy and her family came up to spend the 4th of july weekend with us. We did lots of fun stuff. On the 4th went to a parade (the kids got to decorate their bikes and ride in the parade) in the morning, then we went to a pool party and saw Tops and Blue and the firework on Sheppard AFB. It was fun!!!! The next day Saturday we hang around the house till after noon when we went to a fun pool with a fun kid area. Sunday, we went to church and then they had to leave. The most important part was the kids got to play with their cousins. Something they don't get to do a lot of since we don't often get live by family so we are enjoying having family near by. Yes 3 hours a way is close for us.
